PLAIGROUND LLC Rights Attestation

Use: Shown before distribution / packaging checkout and incorporated into the Terms

Purpose

Before PLAIGROUND delivers a recording, builds certain Act Pack / EPK assets from your materials, or registers publishing you opt into, you must attest the statements below. Stores and partners rely on this. False attestation is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may lead to removal, frozen royalties, account termination, and indemnity claims.

Attestation (you confirm)

By checking the box, signing electronically, or submitting a release, you confirm for each submission:

A. Ownership and authority

1. You own or control the master recording and all submitted artwork, lyrics, and metadata, or you have written authority from every owner.
2. You have cleared (or do not need to clear) samples, interpolations, guest features, producers, and trademarks used in titles or art.
3. Distributing and monetizing this release will not infringe any third-party right.

B. Honest labeling (current PLAIGROUND classes)

4. You selected the correct class for this release: Human, AI-assisted, or Fully AI.
5. You did not ask PLAIGROUND to invent or “fix” a Human label for an AI-assisted or Fully AI track.
6. Your short description of human contribution (when AI-assisted) is accurate enough for a reviewer to understand what a person did.

C. AI tool commercial rights (if any AI was used)

7. Any AI system used was under a paid commercial license that allows commercial release and monetization at the time of generation.
8. You are not relying on a free or non-commercial plan.
9. You did not use voice cloning or impersonation of a real person without express written permission.

D. No manipulation

10. You will not run bots, fake streams, or forbidden pay-for-play against this release.
11. Metadata (artist names, featured artists, title) is not designed to mislead fans into thinking this is another real artist’s work.

E. Contracts

12. You have read and agree to the PLAIGROUND Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
13. If publishing is included, you understand a separate Publishing Agreement is required before PLAIGROUND takes a publisher’s share.
14. Split-sheet percentages you entered are true; every required co-writer will sign.

F. Fees you understand (current)

15. You understand the current paid items you may buy: free account ($0), distribute $2.49 per song, and A&R Act Pack $149, plus any publishing fee shown at checkout. Persona package $299, Content engine $199, Release package $149, and Fan growth setup $99 are Coming soon / join waitlist and are not charged yet. When it is live, Sync is $29 a month or 20% of the placement deal (that 20% is a fee on the placement, not a royalty cut; artists still keep 100% of royalties; no placement promise). Monthly plans are optional add-ons, Coming soon / join waitlist, and are not charged yet.
16. You understand PLAIGROUND does not promise store approval, playlists, sync placement, or any income level.

Our role (so the attestation stays honest)

• We pass your attested class to partners/stores when the product supports that field.
• We may request proof (AI subscription, licenses, IDs, tax forms) before or after delivery.
• We may refuse or remove a release if attestation looks false or incomplete.
• Store rules still control monetization and availability.

Signature block (for product UI)

• Checkbox: “I attest that the statements above are true for this release.”
• Name / account email / date / release title automatically bound in the audit log.
• Multi-writer: each writer attests their own contribution and share on the split sheet.
